This is a most easy ground beef one-dish meal. You can substitute leftover roast beef for the ground beef.
Ground Beef Hash Easy Recipe
Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
1 pound potatoes, cut into small chunks
2 tablespoons beef bouillon
water to cover
Directions
Brown the ground beef and onion in a large saucepan until beef is no longer pink. Add potato chunks, beef bouillon and water to cover.
Cover the saucepan and lower the heat. Let the hash simmer for 30 minutes or until the potatoes are tender and the water has reduced/evaporated.
This recipe could easily become a family favorite. It will definitely become a cook's favorite because it couldn't get any easier.
This recipe substitutes Worcestershire sauce for the water and bouillon in the above recipe. Even though they are similar recipes the taste is entirely different.
Easy Ground Beef and Potato Hash
Ingredients
1 pound lean ground beef
1 large onion, diced
4 large potatoes, peeled and diced
1 (10 fluid ounce) bottle Worcestershire sauce
salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Brown the lean ground beef and diced onion in a large saucepan over medium high heat until meat is no longer pink. Drain the fat and then add peeled and diced potatoes and Worcestershire sauce. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
Reduce the heat to medium low and then cover and simmer for 30 minutes, or until potatoes are tender.
