Fast And Easy Ground Beef Recipe With Chow Mein Noodle Recipe
Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 medium onion, chopped
2 stalks celery, chopped
1 cup cooked white rice
1 can (10.75 ounces) cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup slivered almonds
1 package (5 ounces) chow mein noodles
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1/2 cup water
Kosher salt and ground black pepper
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350F.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet.
Season the ground beef with the kosher salt and black pepper, and then add it to the skillet. Sauté the ground beef until it is browned.
Add the chopped onion and the chopped celery and sauté the vegetables with the ground beef until they are soft. Drain the fat from the pan and set it aside.
Whisk together the cream of chicken soup with the soy sauce and water. Add the cooked white rice and blend will.
Mix the ground beef and vegetables with the rice mixture. Pour the mixture into a medium baking dish and top with the slivered almonds and chow mein noodles.
Bake for about 20 minutes and serve hot.
