Ingredients

2 pounds beef sirloin tip steaks
1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
1 cup Italian-style salad dressing
1 cup barbeque sauce
2 teaspoons granulated garlic or garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

Combine the Worcestershire sauce, salad dressing, barbeque sauce, garlic and pepper in a small bowl and whisk thoroughly. You can also put all the ingredients in a medium sized jar and shake it vigorously. Store it in the same jar.

Pour the marinade over the beef tips in a resealable plastic bag or a glass dish. Turn the bag to coat all the pieces or turn the pieces in the dish to coat all sides. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably more.

Light a charcoal barbeque or heat a gas grill for high heat. Lightly oil the grate.

Shake off any excess marinade and grill the tip steaks about 10 minutes per side, or until they have cooked to your preference.

Good To Know - This not only make a great marinade, but a sauce for the crock pot as well.

To make the beef tip steaks in a slow cooker, cutout the 1/2 cup of Worcestershire and use only 1 tablespoon plus 1/4 cup water.

Put the meat in the bottom of the crock pot, pour the marinade over them, cover the pot and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours. The meat will be fork tender and the sauce can be served on the side or spooned over the meat.

Food For Thought - A little smoky flavor would enhance the flavor of the beef tips.

Soak some hickory or mesquite wood chips for an hour, then throw a handful over the hot coals while grilling the meat. Using a smoky barbecue sauce and adding 1/2 teaspoon liquid smoke would just about send these steaks over the top!
