Easy Steak Marinade

This easy steak marinade adds a rich, smoky taste to your steak and it really is easy. You can probably put this steak marinade together without going to the grocery. It uses common pantry items.

Easy Smoky Steak Marinade

Marinade Ingredients

1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup liquid smoke
1 1/2 tablespoons salt
3 tablespoons seasoned salt
2 tablespoons garlic powder
2 1/2 tablespoons onion powder

Marinade Directions

Whisk together the Worcestershire sauce, liquid smoke, salt, seasoned salt, garlic powder, and onion powder in a bowl until the salts have dissolved.

Early in the morning pour the steak marinade over up to 2 pounds of steak in a resealable plastic bag. Seal the bag, and refrigerate all day. Turn the bags over 2 or 3 times so the steak marinade comes in contact with all the steaks.

The following morning, discard the steak marinade, and cook the steaks as desired.

I like to grill my steaks with a charcoal fired grill for the great smoke taste you get from the charcoal. This steak marinade, however, has it's own smoky flavor so you can cook with a gas grill or even pan sear it and still have a great smoke taste.

The six common ingredients and ease of preparation makes this marinade a truly easy steak marinade.
