Crab Salad Recipe
A good crab salad recipe is great to go along with a grilled rib eye steak, porterhouse
steak or strip steak.
Both the crab salad and the steak are elegant and compliment one another in a special way.
Crab Salad Recipe
1/2 lb. crabmeat, flaked
3 stalks celery, chopped
4 green onions, chopped
1/3 cup mayonnaise
3 avocados, halved
Lettuce leaves
Mix the crabmeat, celery and green onions. Add the mayonnaise and toss lightly. Arrange the lettuce leaves on a serving plate. Place avocado halves on the lettuce. Mound the crab salad in the avocados.
Crab Salad Recipe
2 cans king crab, drained
1/2 cup low calorie mayonnaise
2 Tbsp. Parsley
2 Tbsp. snipped chives
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. lemon juice
1 cup cucumber, pared and diced
4 crisp lettuce cups
4 hard-boiled eggs, quartered
Pick over the crabmeat to be sure there are no shell pieces.
In a medium bowl combine the mayonnaise, parsley, chives, Worcestershire sauce and lemon juice. Mix well. Add the crabmeat and cucumber and toss together.
Refrigerate, covered, until well chilled, about 1 hour. To serve, arrange lettuce cups on 4 serving plates. Fill with the salad and garnish with the hard-boiled egg.
